Lee Mount

Primary School

Lee Mount Primary School is a local authority school sited in Lee Mount adjacent to Shroggs Park in Halifax. The main buildings are about 120 years old and the Nursery Unit was added in 1977. They currently have 705 pupils.

After our engineers performed a lighting audit in the school nursery, it was identified that the current lighting solution was inefficient and a lighting project was extremely viable. It was clear to see from the results of the audit that there were huge savings to be made in carbon emissions and electricity bills.

This project transformed the school, providing well natural looking lit classrooms throughout.
